Salary: $310000 - $360000

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Data Security Analyst to join our dynamic and innovative team. As a Principal Data Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in protecting our company's valuable data and ensuring the safety and security of our systems. You will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing effective data security strategies to mitigate risks and protect our organization from potential cyber threats. This is a high-level position that requires a deep understanding of data security principles, advanced technical skills, and excellent leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard the company's data and information systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic and data activity to detect and respond to potential security threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and remediate security incidents, breaches, and other security-related issues.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments in data security and incorporate best practices into our security strategy.
• Lead the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Provide guidance and support to junior security analysts and ensure their adherence to established security protocols.
• Conduct training and awareness programs to educate employees on data security best practices.
• Work closely with external partners, vendors, and clients to ensure the security of shared data and resources.
• Maintain and update security documentation, including security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data security, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, network security, and data protection.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing data security strategies and policies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate security risks.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Experience with security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, data loss prevention, etc.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are highly preferred.
