Position Title: Lead Infrastructure Architect

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the overall infrastructure architecture of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both technical and business aspects of IT infrastructure, with a proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the organization's infrastructure architecture to ensure it meets the current and future needs of the business.
• Lead and guide a team of infrastructure architects in the design and implementation of new infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve the organization's infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation of infrastructure architecture, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure the security, availability, and scalability of the organization's infrastructure.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues related to infrastructure architecture.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of network, server, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with cloud computing, preferably in a hybrid or multi-cloud environment.
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of technical professionals.
• Relevant certifications, such as TOGAF, ITIL, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are highly desirable.
