Position Overview: As a Release Manager at Lobox, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our products and services to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire release process, from planning and coordination to deployment and post-release support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, project management, and operations, to ensure that all releases are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product management and development teams to define release scope, goals, and deliverables
• Develop and maintain release plans, schedules, and communication strategies
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure alignment between release schedules and project timelines
• Lead release planning meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact release timelines or quality
• Manage release dependencies and ensure that all necessary approvals are obtained
• Work closely with QA to ensure adequate test coverage and adherence to release criteria
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of release documentation, including release notes and user guides
• Coordinate and execute release deployments, including hotfixes and emergency releases
• Monitor and report on release progress and performance metrics
• Facilitate post-release support, including bug triage and prioritization
• Continuously improve release processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a release management role
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
• Experience with release management tools, such as Jira, Git, and Jenkins
• Knowledge of agile project management and continuous delivery principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent releases
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
