Job Description: As an IT Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of hardware and software assets within the company. This includes acquisition, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and disposal of all IT assets. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that all assets are properly managed and utilized to their full potential. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing asset management policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures
• Monitor and maintain accuracy of asset inventory
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with asset management policies
• Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to acquire new assets
• Oversee asset deployment and ensure proper configuration and setup
• Track and manage asset maintenance and repairs
• Ensure proper disposal of retired assets in compliance with environmental and data security regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts for asset purchases
• Provide training and support to end users on asset management processes
• Analyze asset usage and make recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Prepare and present reports on asset inventory, usage, and cost to management
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in asset management to make recommendations for process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management
• Strong knowledge of asset management tools and processes
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with budget management and cost analysis preferred
• Knowledge of ITIL and ISO 20000 standards is a plus
