Job Title: Principal IT Operations Specialist

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the IT department, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security and efficiency of our systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, streamline workflows, and increase productivity.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure the timely delivery of services and products.
• Monitor system performance, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and protocols to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or cyber-attacks.
• Manage and allocate budget and resources for IT projects and initiatives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely completion.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks.
• Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
• Certifications in project management, ITIL, or other relevant areas are a plus.
