Job Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Cyber Threat Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cybersecurity and a strong desire to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. As a Junior Cyber Threat Analyst, you will work closely with our team of experienced analysts to identify, analyze, and mitigate potential cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic, security logs, and other security-related data to identify potential security incidents.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security events to determine the scope, impact, and severity of any potential cyber threats.
• Collaborate with our team of senior analysts to investigate and respond to security incidents and provide timely and accurate updates to all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports and provide recommendations for improving our overall security posture.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cyber threats, attack techniques, and mitigation strategies to ensure Lobox stays ahead of potential threats.
• Participate in tabletop exercises and other security drills to test our incident response procedures and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Knowledge of common security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response.
• Familiarity with common cyber threats, attack techniques, and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, or GIAC will be considered a plus.
