Job Title: Principal Cyber Threat Analyst

Salary: $270000 - $310000

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Cyber Threat Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Principal Cyber Threat Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the identification, analysis, and mitigation of cyber threats to our company's networks, systems, and data. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of cyber threats, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the threat intelligence program by continuously monitoring and analyzing emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of threat data to identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigating actions.
• Develop and maintain threat profiles and conduct threat modeling to identify potential attack vectors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective threat detection and prevention strategies.
• Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on cyber threats and provide training and guidance to junior analysts.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in cyber attacks and apply the knowledge to enhance our company's security posture.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external threat intelligence sources to stay ahead of potential threats.
• Participate in incident response activities and provide technical assistance in the event of a cyber attack.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber threat analysis or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with threat intelligence tools, SIEM, and other security technologies.
• Familiarity with network and system security protocols and best practices.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred.
