Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of API integrations for our company's systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and design integration solutions that meet those requirements.
Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of API integrations to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for API integrations, including specifications, user guides, and troubleshooting guides.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API integration and make recommendations for continuous improvements.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other team members to enhance their understanding of API integration concepts and techniques.
Participate in the development of integration standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of API integrations.
Perform regular monitoring and maintenance of existing API integrations to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to establish and maintain API integrations for data exchange.
Lead the evaluation and selection of new API integration tools and technologies to support business needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in API integration development, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of API design principles, protocols, and standards such as REST, SOAP, GraphQL, JSON, and XML.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
In-depth knowledge and experience with API management platforms and tools, such as Mulesoft, Apigee, or Kong.
Strong experience in developing and implementing API integrations using various authentication methods such as OAuth, JWT, and API keys.
Experience with API testing and monitoring tools like Postman, SoapUI, or JMeter.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to mentor and lead a team of developers.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
