About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Robotics Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Robotics Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative robotics solutions to enhance our company's productivity and efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide strategic recommendations for the implementation of robotics technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of robotics solutions, from conception to deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and identify opportunities for automation
• Design and build robotic systems to meet specific business requirements
• Program and integrate robots with existing systems and equipment
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and performance of robotics systems
• Train and mentor junior robotics engineers on coding and programming best practices
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics technology and apply them to improve existing systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for robotics systems in production
• Develop and maintain documentation for all robotics projects, including project plans, coding, and testing procedures
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all robotics projects
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source necessary components and materials for robotics projects
• Participate in project planning and budgeting activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in robotics engineering, preferably in a senior or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of robotics programming languages, such as C++, Python, and Java
• Experience with robotics simulation software, such as ROS and V-REP
• Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modeling robotic systems
• Experience with control systems and sensors, such as vision systems, proximity sensors, and force sensors
• Solid understanding of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proven track record of successfully delivering robotics projects on time and within budget
