Job Summary: As a Lead Cyber Defense Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cybersecurity measures to protect our clients' systems and networks. You will lead a team of engineers and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks. Your expertise in cybersecurity and leadership skills will be instrumental in ensuring the security of our clients' sensitive data and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of cyber defense engineers to design, implement and maintain cybersecurity solutions for our clients.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify potential risks and recommend solutions.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor network traffic and logs to detect and respond to cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve our defense strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the development and implementation of new systems and applications.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members to enhance their cybersecurity skills and knowledge.
• Prepare and present reports to clients and senior management on the status of cybersecurity programs and initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of network and system security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Proficient in using security tools such as vulnerability scanners, SIEM, and penetration testing tools.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve security issues.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA will be an added advantage.
