Salary: $138 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Systems Operations Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's systems. As a Principal Systems Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure to support our business operations. Your expertise and leadership will be vital in driving continuous improvement and innovation in our systems operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain system architecture and design documents, including diagrams, specifications, and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, proactively identifying and implementing solutions to ensure maximum system uptime and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration and compatibility of new systems and technologies.
• Lead and mentor a team of systems operations engineers, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Communicate with stakeholders and senior management to provide regular updates on system operations and any potential risks or issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in systems operations, and provide recommendations for their implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of system administration, networking, and security principles.
• Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
