Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement highly scalable, reliable, and performant data platform infrastructure.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and integrate new data sources into the data platform.
Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
Monitor and troubleshoot data platform issues and provide timely resolution.
Design and implement data security measures to ensure data privacy and compliance.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data queries and processes.
Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the data platform space and make recommendations for their adoption.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior members of the team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong experience with data platform technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Hive.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools.
Experience with data modeling and database design.
Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
