Overview: We are seeking an experienced Streaming Data Engineer to join our growing team. As a Streaming Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our real-time data streaming platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and play a crucial role in revolutionizing the way we handle data at Lobox.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance streaming data pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Spark, and Flink
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement best practices for data ingestion, processing, and storage to ensure data quality and reliability
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve any issues in a timely manner
• Optimize data streaming processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, processes, and configurations
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in streaming data technologies and bring in new ideas and techniques to improve our data infrastructure
• Actively participate in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with data streaming technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Scala, Python, or similar
• In-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and distributed computing
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proven experience in developing and deploying streaming data pipelines in a production environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and tools in the data engineering space
