Lobox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to join our fast-growing team. As a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our complex distributed systems that power our innovative products and services. You will work closely with a team of talented engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop distributed systems architecture to support our growing business needs.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance distributed systems using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to company coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in our distributed systems, and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our distributed systems.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with distributed system frameworks, such as Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or Hadoop.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with database systems, both relational and NoSQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
