Job Title: Lead Cognitive Computing Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cognitive Computing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Cognitive Computing Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge cognitive computing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cognitive computing applications that will revolutionize our business processes and enhance our customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of cognitive computing solutions within our organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop strategies for leveraging cognitive computing technologies.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cognitive computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
• Develop and implement machine learning models, algorithms, and statistical techniques to analyze large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
• Design and implement natural language processing models and algorithms to enable intelligent conversations and interactions with our customers.
• Lead the development of cognitive computing applications and APIs, and ensure their scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Manage a team of cognitive computing engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to drive their professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure they are met within budget and on time.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and standards for cognitive computing and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, and contribute to building a strong and diverse team of cognitive computing experts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cognitive computing, artificial intelligence, or machine learning engineering.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques, natural language processing, and deep learning.
• Proven track record of successfully leading the development and deployment of cognitive computing applications in a complex business environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead a team of engineers.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and experience with relevant tools and services.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cognitive computing and continuously learning and improving.
