Job Title: Lead Data Reliability Engineer

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Lead Data Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-growing team. As the Lead Data Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our data systems. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, as well as providing technical leadership and guidance to our team of data reliability engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our data infrastructure, including data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Develop and maintain data monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems to ensure the health and performance of our data systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot data issues and implement solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of data reliability engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and training.
• Develop and maintain documentation for our data systems, processes, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data reliability and continuously improve our data infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a data engineering or data reliability role.
• Extensive experience with data infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance, preferably in a cloud environment.
• Strong experience with data warehousing and ETL tools, such as Redshift, Snowflake, and Airflow.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data monitoring and alerting tools, such as Datadog or Splunk.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
