Job Title: Junior Autonomous Vehicle Engineer

Salary: $69 Per hour

We are looking for a talented and driven Junior Autonomous Vehicle Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Autonomous Vehicle Engineer, you will work closely with our team of experienced engineers to design, develop and test autonomous vehicle systems. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of the next generation of self-driving vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop autonomous vehicle systems, including perception, planning, and control algorithms
• Implement and test software and hardware components of the autonomous vehicle system
• Conduct simulations and real-world testing to validate the performance of the autonomous vehicle system
• Analyze data from testing and provide recommendations for improvements
• Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in autonomous vehicle technology and contribute ideas for enhancing our system
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the autonomous vehicle system with other vehicle systems
• Support the development of documentation and training materials for the autonomous vehicle system
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the quality and maintainability of the codebase
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may arise during testing and deployment of the autonomous vehicle system

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry
• Solid understanding of autonomous vehicle technology and related concepts such as perception, planning, and control
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB
• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Passion for self-driving vehicles and a desire to contribute to the future of transportation
