Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, with a deep understanding of security protocols, network infrastructure, and best practices. As a Network Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's network and information systems. You will work closely with our IT team to identify potential security risks and implement proactive measures to prevent security breaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Monitor network traffic and system logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Implement and manage various security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Conduct regular security audits and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that security measures are integrated into the network infrastructure.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities to proactively address potential risks.
• Perform security reviews on new network enhancements and changes.
• Participate in incident response and handle security incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide training and support to employees on security best practices and policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network security, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and handle complex security issues.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
