Job Title: Cloud Operations Manager

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $123 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Cloud Operations Manager to lead and manage our cloud operations team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the smooth delivery of our cloud-based services. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture and a proven track record of successfully managing cloud operations in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of cloud operations engineers and technicians
• Develop and implement cloud operations strategies to improve efficiency and reliability
• Monitor and manage the performance and availability of our cloud services
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or incidents related to the cloud infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of cloud-based services
• Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement in the cloud operations processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with cloud service providers and vendors
• Develop and maintain documentation for all cloud operations procedures and processes
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud operations and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Manage and monitor the budget for cloud operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing ROI
• Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in cloud operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing cloud operations, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of ITIL principles and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages is a plus
• Certifications in cloud technologies such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator is a plus
