Salary: $92 Per hour

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Database Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's databases to ensure efficient and secure data management. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to optimize database configurations and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement database structures, including tables, indexes, and views, to support our company's applications and business needs.
• Develop and maintain database scripts and stored procedures to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Monitor database performance and recommend optimizations to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot database issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions.
• Manage database security and access controls to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Develop and maintain database backup and disaster recovery plans to minimize data loss and downtime.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in database technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Experience with database design, optimization, and security.
• Working knowledge of database backup and recovery strategies.
• Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tuning tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
