Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced System Monitoring Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a System Monitoring Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and availability of our company's IT systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and the timely resolution of any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance and availability of our company's IT systems, including servers, network devices, and applications.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot any issues that may impact system performance or availability.
• Configure and maintain monitoring tools to effectively monitor and report on system metrics.
• Generate reports on system health and performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any system-related issues and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain system monitoring procedures and documentation.
• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices for system monitoring.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical system issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in system monitoring and management.
• Strong knowledge of system monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Working knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
