Salary: $123 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Model Architect to join our team. As a Data Model Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's data architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable data models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data warehousing, and database design, with a passion for developing innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and develop data models that support their requirements.
• Work closely with data engineers and developers to implement data models and ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
• Perform data analysis and identify data quality issues, recommending solutions to improve data accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and other documentation related to data models.
• Stay updated with the latest data modeling techniques and technologies and propose their implementation to improve data architecture.
• Define and enforce data modeling standards and best practices across the organization.
• Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior data modelers and other team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Model Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and techniques such as entity-relationship modeling, dimensional modeling, and data normalization.
• Proficient in data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or PowerDesigner.
• Extensive experience in data warehousing and database design, particularly with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database optimization techniques.
• Experience with data integration and ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
