Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain deployment plans and schedules for software applications and updates, in collaboration with the project management team.
Coordinate with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure timely and efficient deployment of software releases.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions during deployment.
Monitor and track the progress of software deployments, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure that all software applications and updates are properly packaged and tested for deployment.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure all necessary infrastructure and resources are in place for successful deployment.
Conduct post-deployment reviews and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Manage and maintain deployment documentation and ensure its accuracy and completeness.
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve the software deployment process.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software deployment or release management.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
Experience with deployment tools and technologies such as Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
In-depth knowledge of version control systems such as Git, SVN, etc.
Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering multiple software deployments on time and within budget.
