Position: Frontend Lead
Location: San Francisco, California, United States
Salary: $190000 - $224000
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Frontend Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Frontend Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of frontend developers and driving the development and implementation of our company's frontend applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality and timely project delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, plan, and execute frontend development projects
- Develop and implement frontend coding standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their integration into our projects
- Work closely with designers and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend components
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend issues and provide technical support to the team when needed
- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across projects
- Develop and maintain project timelines and ensure timely delivery of projects
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance of our frontend applications
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scopes, requirements, and timelines
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery
- Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders, including management, clients, and team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in frontend development, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Experience with frontend development tools and libraries such as Webpack, Gulp, and Sass
- Proficiency in responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passion for learning and staying updated with emerging frontend technologies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
