Salary: $92 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Network Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's network infrastructure. Your main goal will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our network, keeping downtime to a minimum and maintaining a high level of user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
• Perform network upgrades and updates as required.
• Monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement network security protocols.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network operations.
• Maintain and update network documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for network issues.
• Train and mentor junior network operations staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network operations.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, Wireshark, and Nagios.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting complex network issues.
• Knowledge of network security best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are a plus.
