Job Title: Cloud Migration Manager

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Migration Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Migration Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the migration of our company's data, applications, and systems to the cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and successful transition to the cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the migration of our company's data, applications, and systems to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive cloud migration strategy, taking into consideration the company's objectives and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to identify and prioritize workloads for migration.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to ensure the security and integrity of data during the migration process.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
• Manage and track project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within budget delivery of cloud migration projects.
• Develop and implement testing plans to ensure the functionality, performance, and reliability of migrated applications and systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot any issues during and after the migration process, and provide timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain documentation of the cloud migration process, including procedures, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing cloud migration projects.
• Strong understanding of various cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with cloud migration tools and technologies, such as AWS Database Migration Service and Azure Data Migration Service.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Azure Solutions Architect, are a plus.
