Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and understand the current data structure and systems in place
Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans
Collaborate with various departments to gather requirements and ensure all data is accounted for
Identify and resolve any data quality issues prior to migration
Configure and customize data mapping and transformation rules
Conduct thorough testing of the migration process and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Monitor data migration progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Ensure data security and compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
Train and support end-users on the new system and data processes
Document all data migration procedures and maintain accurate records for future reference
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance data migration efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data migration, preferably in a complex and high-volume environment
In-depth knowledge of data structures, database management, and data mapping techniques
Proficiency in SQL and other data manipulation tools
Familiarity with data migration tools and software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
Proven track record of delivering successful data migration projects within tight deadlines.
