Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Asset Manager Lead to join our dynamic team. As the IT Asset Manager Lead, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and other technology-related resources. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective use of our company's IT assets, while also maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT asset management policies and procedures to ensure optimal use of company resources
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses
• Monitor and track asset inventory levels to ensure timely procurement and disposal of assets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT asset needs and requirements
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to negotiate favorable terms for asset procurement and management
• Create and maintain asset management reports, including asset utilization, depreciation, and maintenance costs
• Lead and mentor a team of IT asset management professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of asset management initiatives
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management and make recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with the IT security team to ensure the security and integrity of all IT assets
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical IT assets
• Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units to ensure alignment of asset management strategies with overall business objectives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong understanding of IT asset management principles, including procurement, tracking, disposal, and compliance
• Experience with asset management tools and software, such as ServiceNow, Microsoft SCCM, or IBM BigFix
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience in managing a team and providing mentorship and guidance
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations and best practices
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and processes
• Professional certifications in IT asset management, such as IAITAM or CHAMP, are highly preferred
