Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data science strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business metrics and establish KPIs for measuring success
Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover insights and patterns that will inform business decisions
Design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to drive business growth and optimize processes
Develop dashboards and reports to present data insights in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand manner
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data science to continuously improve the company's data strategy
Train and mentor junior data scientists to improve their technical skills and enhance the overall performance of the team
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data is collected, stored, and managed in a secure and efficient manner
Work with external partners and vendors to leverage data and insights for business growth opportunities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
years of experience in a data science or analytics role, with at least years in a leadership position
Strong understanding of data science concepts and techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record of driving business growth through data science strategies
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or NoSQL databases is a plus
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
