Salary: $247000 - $272000

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Asset Specialist Lead to join our team. As the IT Asset Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire IT asset lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective use of our company's IT assets, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for the management of IT assets, including hardware, software, and other related equipment.
• Oversee the acquisition, deployment, and disposal of IT assets according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Track and maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including their location, ownership, and status.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of IT asset records.
• Work closely with the procurement team to identify and evaluate potential vendors and negotiate favorable contracts for IT asset purchases.
• Collaborate with the IT department to develop and maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware and software assets.
• Develop and maintain an asset tracking system to ensure the efficient and timely replacement of outdated or malfunctioning equipment.
• Monitor and report on IT asset usage and performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
• Train and supervise a team of IT Asset Specialists to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT asset management to continuously improve processes and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IT asset management principles, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in using asset management software and tools.
• Experience in managing a team and providing guidance and support to team members.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to IT asset management.
