Job Title: Cloud Platform Manager

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Platform Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud platforms, as well as develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our cloud platforms, including monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the cloud infrastructure meets the needs of the organization.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including policies, procedures, and configurations.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for cloud services.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology to make recommendations for improving our cloud architecture.
• Train and mentor team members on cloud infrastructure best practices and procedures.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud platforms, including data privacy and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage the budget for cloud services and make strategic decisions to optimize costs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for any issues related to our cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing cloud infrastructure, preferably in a large-scale environment.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security, virtualization, and storage technologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications in cloud computing are preferred.
