Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Science Operations Manager to join our team. As a Data Science Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational aspects of our data science team and projects. This is a critical role that requires a leader who is able to effectively manage projects, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of data science solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data science team, including project management, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data science projects that align with business goals.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Define and implement best practices for data science project management, including project documentation, processes, and tools.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of data science projects through effective project management, testing, and quality assurance processes.
• Communicate project updates, progress, and challenges to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in data science project management.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science to continuously improve our processes and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a data science or analytics environment.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering data science projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of data science principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing a team of data scientists is a plus.
• PMP, Agile, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
