Are you a highly skilled and experienced Data Migration Architect looking for your next challenge? Do you have a strong background in data architecture and a deep understanding of data migration processes? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Data Migration Architect.

As a Data Migration Architect, you will play a critical role in our company's data migration projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing data migration strategies and solutions that meet our business needs. In this role, you will work closely with our data engineering and development teams to ensure that data is accurately and efficiently migrated from legacy systems to new platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data migration strategies, plans, and processes to ensure successful data migration projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design data migration solutions that align with our overall data architecture
• Develop data mapping and transformation rules to ensure accurate and efficient data migration
• Perform data quality assessments and identify areas for improvement in data quality
• Monitor data migration processes and resolve any issues that arise in a timely manner
• Develop and maintain documentation for all data migration processes and procedures
• Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity post-migration
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data migration and recommend improvements to our data migration processes
• Mentor and train junior team members on data migration techniques and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Migration Architect or a similar role
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices
• Extensive experience with data mapping and transformation
• Proficient in SQL and data manipulation languages
• Experience with data migration tools and technologies
• Solid understanding of data quality management and data governance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
