Job Title: Cloud Security Consultant

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cloud security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the protection of our company's sensitive data. You will work closely with our clients to understand their security needs and provide them with customized solutions to mitigate risks and prevent cyber attacks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth security assessments of clients' cloud infrastructure and identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.
• Design and implement security solutions for cloud environments, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain cloud security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify any security gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security controls in the development and deployment of new cloud-based applications.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our cloud security strategy.
• Provide training and support to internal and external stakeholders on cloud security best practices.
• Work closely with clients to understand their security requirements and provide them with tailored solutions to meet their specific needs.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the main point of contact for all security-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security, with a proven track record of implementing security solutions in cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and security principles.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with industry security standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP, are highly desirable.
