Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Lead

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's cloud infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the business requirements and align with industry best practices
• Lead and manage a team of cloud infrastructure engineers to ensure timely project delivery and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud infrastructure strategies that support business goals and objectives
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor and analyze system performance, capacity, and availability, and make recommendations for improvements
• Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends, and make recommendations for their adoption
• Ensure proper backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place for the cloud environment
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for cloud services
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure in a large-scale environment
• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of cloud infrastructure engineers
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• In-depth knowledge of networking, security, and virtualization technologies
• Solid experience in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus
