Job Overview: As a Big Data Specialist Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of big data solutions for our clients. You will lead a team of data specialists and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects. Your role will involve hands-on technical expertise, as well as providing strategic direction to drive the growth of our big data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of data specialists, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure successful execution of projects
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop customized big data solutions
• Design and implement data warehousing strategies, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality monitoring
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and workflows to support real-time data processing and analysis
• Perform data analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions
• Stay updated with the latest big data technologies and trends and recommend new tools and techniques to enhance our services
• Ensure data security and privacy standards are met in all projects
• Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs, and provide feedback to team members to foster their professional growth
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and budgets

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in big data technologies, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proven experience in designing and implementing big data solutions, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data pipelines
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with big data tools and technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases
• Sound understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
