Job Title: Network Systems Lead

Salary: $138 Per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Systems Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Network Systems Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our network infrastructure, as well as providing technical support and guidance to our network team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of our network systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and reliable.
• Develop and maintain network architecture and documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Configure and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and services, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance and identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks to ensure optimal network operation.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new technologies and solutions that improve network performance and functionality.
• Provide technical guidance and support to network team members, including training and mentoring.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in networking and security, and make recommendations for improvements to our network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of any network-related issues.
• Manage network equipment inventory, including purchasing, installation, and retirement of devices.
• Ensure network compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VLANs.
• Experience with network security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware, such as routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios.
• Knowledge of network virtualization technologies, such as VMware NSX or Cisco ACI.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python or Bash, for network automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP, are a plus.
