Position Title: IT Infrastructure Lead Manager

Location: San Francisco, California, United States

The IT Infrastructure Lead Manager is a key leadership position within the IT department, responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that the company's technology systems are secure, efficient, and reliable to support the organization's business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, plans, and roadmaps in alignment with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
• Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the design and implementation of network, server, and storage systems to support the organization's technology requirements.
• Manage the deployment and maintenance of hardware, software, and applications, ensuring they are up-to-date, secure, and accessible to users.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize risks and ensure business operations can continue in the event of a system outage or disaster.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying and resolving any issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide solutions to support their business processes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met and costs are managed effectively.
• Develop and maintain IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of IT infrastructure projects, performance metrics, and any potential risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in network, server, and storage systems.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for IT infrastructure.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Certifications in relevant IT infrastructure technologies (e.g. Cisco, Microsoft, VMware) are an asset.
