Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data migration strategies and plans for complex and large-scale projects
Lead and manage a team of data migration specialists, providing guidance, support, and direction throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data migration requirements, timelines, and dependencies
Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer between systems
Conduct data quality assessments and implement data cleansing and validation processes to ensure data integrity
Develop and maintain data migration policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and data security
Monitor and track data migration progress, identify and address any issues or roadblocks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Perform data migration testing and resolve any identified issues in a timely manner
Provide training and support to end-users on data migration processes and systems
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data migration and make recommendations for process improvements and optimizations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in data migration, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role
Strong understanding of data migration methodologies, tools, and techniques
Experience with data mapping, transformation, and validation processes
Proficient in SQL and data manipulation languages
Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
Excellent project management and leadership skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
