Salary: $247000 - $320000

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Edge Computing Operations Lead to join our team. As the Edge Computing Operations Lead, you will play a critical role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of our edge computing infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of edge computing technologies, as well as excellent leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of edge computing infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define edge computing requirements and develop solutions
• Design, deploy, and manage edge computing systems to support critical business operations
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation for edge computing systems
• Monitor edge computing systems for performance, availability, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with edge computing systems in a timely manner
• Work with vendors to procure and maintain hardware and software for edge computing infrastructure
• Manage and mentor a team of edge computing operations specialists
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in edge computing technologies and make recommendations for improvement and optimization
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and communicate updates on edge computing operations
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of edge computing projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in edge computing operations or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of edge computing technologies, including hardware, software, and networking components
• Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Knowledge of security best practices for edge computing systems
• Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus
• Relevant certifications in edge computing or cloud computing is a plus
