Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement the infrastructure for our big data analytics platform, including data storage, processing, and retrieval systems.
Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs.
Configure and maintain the hardware and software components of the big data platform, including servers, storage devices, databases, and analytics tools.
Optimize the performance of the big data infrastructure to ensure fast and reliable data processing and analysis.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with the big data platform.
Ensure the security and integrity of our data by implementing appropriate access controls, encryption, and backup procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in big data technologies and make recommendations for their implementation in our platform.
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, including data scientists and engineers.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with big data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, or Cassandra.
In-depth understanding of distributed systems and data storage concepts.
Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
