Job Title: IT Infrastructure Coordinator

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $115 Per hour

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and coordinating all aspects of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security. The IT Infrastructure Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our company's IT systems, as well as implementing and maintaining best practices for IT infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security.
• Work closely with the IT team to develop and implement strategies for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of all IT systems.
• Identify and resolve any issues related to IT infrastructure, including troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure processes and procedures.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in IT infrastructure management.
• Continuously assess and improve the company's IT infrastructure to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement new technologies that enhance business operations.
• Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective support for IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the company's IT systems.
• Train and support employees on the use of IT infrastructure and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networks, and security.
• Experience with virtualization, cloud computing, and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL and other best practices for IT infrastructure management.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to stay updated on the latest developments in IT infrastructure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. ITIL, CompTIA A+, CCNA) are a plus.
