Job Overview: As the Data Warehouse Operations Lead, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our data warehouse. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and availability of all data stored in our warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and experience with database administration and data management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of data warehouse administrators and analysts to ensure the smooth operation of our data warehouse.
• Develop and implement data warehouse policies and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data is accurately loaded into the warehouse.
• Develop and maintain data warehouse documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data access controls.
• Conduct regular audits of the data warehouse to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Manage user access to the data warehouse and ensure data security protocols are followed.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in data warehousing and make recommendations for improvements to our data warehouse environment.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
• Participate in the design and implementation of new data warehouse systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data warehouse operations, database administration, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts, data management, and database administration.
• Experience with SQL and database querying.
• Experience with data modeling and data integration techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques is a plus.
