Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud application strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements for cloud applications.
Lead the development and implementation of cloud-based applications, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and security standards.
Manage the entire application lifecycle, from design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Oversee a team of developers and engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful delivery of projects.
Monitor and analyze application performance, identifying and addressing any issues or bottlenecks.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in cloud technology, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements to our applications.
Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and managing service level agreements.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of projects, highlighting any risks or opportunities.
Develop and manage the budget for cloud application development and maintenance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing cloud applications.
Strong technical background, with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile, and project management tools, such as JIRA.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of developers and engineers.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
In-depth knowledge of data security and privacy regulations and best practices.
Proven experience in managing budgets and negotiating contracts with vendors.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
