About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Monitoring Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring of our company's systems and ensuring their optimal functionality. As the Systems Monitoring Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and performance of our systems, as well as identifying and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead a team of monitoring specialists to ensure the timely and accurate monitoring of all systems.
• Develop and implement monitoring strategies and procedures to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Perform regular system checks and analyze data to identify patterns and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine the root cause of system issues and develop effective solutions.
• Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain system monitoring documentation and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Train and mentor team members on monitoring tools and processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in system monitoring technology to continuously improve processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a system monitoring or related role.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
