Job Overview: The Edge Computing Manager will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of edge computing strategies within our organization. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of edge computing engineers and working closely with other departments to ensure that our edge computing solutions are effectively integrated into our overall business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully implementing edge computing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement edge computing strategies that align with the company's overall business goals
• Manage a team of edge computing engineers and provide guidance and support as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements for edge computing solutions
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of edge computing solutions
• Ensure that all edge computing projects are completed within the agreed timeline and budget
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the edge computing space and make recommendations for their integration into the company's strategy
• Monitor and track the performance of edge computing solutions and provide regular reports to management
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on the benefits and usage of edge computing solutions
• Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure the successful delivery of edge computing projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in edge computing or a similar role
• Strong technical background with a solid understanding of edge computing technologies and architectures
• Proven experience in managing and leading a team
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Experience in the deployment and management of edge computing solutions is preferred
• Relevant certifications in edge computing or cloud computing is a plus
