Position: Network Security Manager

Location: New York, New York, United States

Salary: $138 Per hour

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Security Manager to join our team. As the Network Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the security of our company's network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our network and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement network security policies and procedures to protect the organization's network infrastructure from cyber threats and attacks.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and provide recommendations to improve the overall security posture.
• Manage and monitor network security systems such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure that all network devices and systems are configured and maintained securely.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement security controls and measures in line with industry best practices.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions for employees to educate them on network security policies and procedures.
• Manage and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the security of our network and data.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the organization's ability to recover from a cyber attack or network outage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in network security management.
• Extensive knowledge of network security technologies and protocols, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPN, and encryption.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for network security.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
