Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Systems Developer Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex IT systems to support our company's operations. As the Lead Developer, you will also oversee a team of developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of IT systems, including gathering user requirements, designing system architecture, and writing efficient and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and adherence to development best practices.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of all IT systems by implementing proper testing, monitoring, and maintenance procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to continuously improve our systems and processes.
• Act as a liaison between the development team and other departments to communicate project status, technical issues, and resolutions.
• Train and onboard new team members on development processes, tools, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT systems development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with database management systems (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and data modeling.
• Proven experience in designing and developing scalable and secure IT systems.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. AWS, Microsoft, etc.) is a plus.
