Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and develop data-driven strategies
Develop and implement data science methodologies and best practices to support business goals
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights and recommendations
Manage and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional and personal development goals
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in data science and technology to continuously improve the team's capabilities and processes
Monitor team performance and provide regular reports on key metrics and KPIs to senior management
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing appropriate data governance and quality control measures
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure data infrastructure and tools are optimized for data science projects
Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to other teams and departments on data science and analytics initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions
Strong technical skills in data mining, machine learning, statistical modeling, and programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
Experience with data visualization and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities and drive continuous improvement
Experience in the retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods industry is a plus
