Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the smooth functioning of our cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our company's cloud infrastructure, including but not limited to servers, storage, and networking components.
• Work closely with our development and operations teams to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the performance of our cloud-based systems, making necessary adjustments and improvements.
• Ensure security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain cloud-based resources, including virtual machines, databases, and storage services.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for our cloud infrastructure.
• Document processes and procedures related to the cloud infrastructure and provide training to other team members as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and best practices, and make recommendations for their implementation.
• Collaborate with other team members to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• In-depth knowledge of virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in a cloud environment.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
